Wolf Makes His Home on Mir
News story originally written on September 29, 1997
The space shuttle Atlantis reached the space station Mir on Saturday. It dropped off astronaut David Wolf. He moved into his new bedroom on the space station. Wolf said the room has a great view especially of the Earth!
Atlantis picked up Michael Foale while it was docked with Mir. Foale was on Mir for four months. He is excited to return home. Atlantis will land in Florida on October 5, 1997.
Wolf 41 years old. He is the sixth American to live on Mir. He will do a lot of science experiments while he is on Mir.
