Linda Godwin is an American astronaut who was born on July 2, 1952,
in Missouri.
Godwin became an astronaut in 1986. She has spent over 633 hours in
space on three spaceflights.
In 1991, Godwin flew aboard STS-37. Godwin made her second
spaceflight in 1994 aboard STS-59. The crew studied the Earth's atmosphere.
Godwin flew aboard STS-76 in 1996. She performed a 6-hour spacewalk
during this mission.
