Cave Day
This cave is near the end of an Ice Tongue, a huge part of a glacier that has moved off the land and is floating in the water. Because the ocean is still frozen, we can get close to the cave entrance and climb inside. No photograph can show the true blueness of the ice as seen from the inside, nothing compares; it is magical. Hanging from the ceiling are long formations of snowflakes on a chain which are very fragile. Formed from the humidity in the air they would break if you touched them; no one ever does, as it would also break the magic of this special place.
