Geysers fling ice crystals far above the South Pole of Enceladus, a moon of Saturn. The ice crystals are backlit in this view. Numerous individual geysers are visible near the surface of Enceladus. The geysers apparently emanate from huge, strangely warm, "tiger stripe" cracks in the moon's surface near its South Pole. The image was captured by the Cassini spacecraft.
