This "thermal map" image shows Saturn in infrared "light". Brighter shades of orange represent warmer areas. Oddly, the hottest spot on Saturn is at the South Pole (bright dot near the bottom of the image). Temperatures at the pole can be 60° C (108° F) higher than at the equator!
