Help Support NESTA's Professional Development programs at the NSTA Conference in San Antonio!

The National Earth Science Teachers Association welcomes support for our events at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conference in San Antonio from individuals, programs, organizations, and companies committed to improving K-12 science education and public literacy in the Earth and space sciences. NESTA offers a full suite of events for K-12 science educators at the NSTA national conference each year, reaching over 1200 Earth and space science teachers. With support from interested partner organizations and individuals, we can get closer to covering our costs for this effective professional development strategy while providing an opportunity for programs, organizations, and companies to receive prominent recognition for their sponsorship.

This year's conference will be held in San Antonio, Texas April 10-13, 2013. The information below describes the elements of our program, and opportunities for sponsorship. Please select the sponsorship option of your choice from the list below – providing either general support for all of our events at the level of your choice or sponsorship for specific events. Once you make your selection, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit your choices". This will move you to a page where you can enter your contact and credit card information. Our system will provide you a receipt which you can use for record keeping purposes. Please note that since NESTA is a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, your contributions to NESTA in support of our program may be tax deductible.

We will be happy to provide prominent recognition of your support on signage at the conference. We will be back in touch with sponsors to get a high-resolution copy of their logo to include in our promotional materials and signage. Sponsors who sign up to support our events prior to January 5, 2013 (and get their high-resolution logo back to us by this date) will be in time to have their support recognized in our print advertising in the NSTA program, NSTA Reports, and in the Spring 2013 issue of NESTA’s quarterly journal, The Earth Scientist. Please note, also, that sponsorship options for the NESTA Field Trip are available through January 5 only (thereafter, we will need to set the price of tickets for teachers, depending on the level of support received from sponsors).
