Terrence Wilcutt is an American astronaut who was born on October 31,
1949, in Kentucky.
Before he became an astronaut, Wilcutt was a pilot in the Marines.
Wilcutt became an astronaut in 1991. He has spent over 512 hours in
space on two spaceflights.
In 1994, Wilcutt was the pilot of STS-68. The crew studied the Earth.
In 1996, Wilcutt commanded STS-89. The crew
visited the Russian Mir Space Station during this mission.
