This graph shows a side-view or profile of three volcanoes on Mars. The image distorts the shape of the volcanoes and makes them look very tall and skinny. The yellow line represents the shape of the largest volcano in the Solar System, Olympus Mons. The pink line shows two other volcanoes on Mars, Alba Patera and Arsia Mons. Notice that Arsia Mons is above Olympus Mons but, that its base begins higher, too.
