Olympus Mons, a volcano on Mars, is the highest mountain in the Solar System and stands about 80,000 feet tall. This graph shows lots of information about Olympus Mons. On the left side, the height is given in meters. On the horizontal axis, at the bottom, the graph shows degrees of latitude. This image distorts the volcano. The first 30,000 feet are nearly vertical while the upper 50,000 feet slope gently.
