Launch Date Set for STS-95

NASA set the time for the next space shuttle launch. Discovery will take
off on October 29th, 1998, at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. It will be in
space for almost nine days.
This flight features John Glenn's second
space flight. He just had to wait 36 years since his first flight. Glenn
was the first American to orbit the Earth.
There are seven crew members. Curt Brown is the mission commander;
Steven Lindsey is the pilot; Steve Robinson, Scott Parazynski, and Pedro
Duque are mission specialists; John Glenn and Chiaki Mukai are payload
