Rare Occultation of Regulus!
News story originally written on May 13, 1999
An occultation of the star Regulus can be seen this Friday evening. An occultation is a type of eclipse. The star will pass behind the moon, so the light will be blocked! Most of the United States, Mexico and Canada will see it late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
