News story originally written on November 15, 1999
The space shuttle Discovery is ready for launch! It took scientists two months to
fix wiring problems on the shuttle. Not it is on the launch pad.
Discovery will visit the Hubble Space Telescope to fix it. Right now, the telescope is in safe mode, and can't be used.
In December, astronauts will walk in space to fix it!
