News story originally written on June 27, 1997
The movie Apollo 13
showed how hard it can be to live in space. Right now, there are three men living on the Mir space station in space. They just had an accident that has made living there very hard.
On Wednesday, June 25, the space station Mir hit a cargo ship. This caused a leak in the space station. Leaks in the space station make it impossible to breathe.
The accident also caused a power outage. This power outage is like those you have during thunderstorms here on Earth.
The Russian newspaper says that the men are in no danger. The men will stay in the space station and fix what went wrong in the accident.
