Desert Reptiles
There are lots of different reptiles in the desert! Most of them are either snakes or lizards. The most famous snake is the rattlesnake. It has a rattle on the end of its body. If it is in danger, it shakes the rattle.
Many of the lizards in the desert look weird! Some change colors and have ways to scare enemies away. The gila monster is a scary lizard. If it bites you, it is very hard to get it off!
