Did you think the space between the stars was empty? Well, if you did, you are not alone. Actually, to our surprise, gas and dust clouds fill the space between the stars and galaxies in some parts of the sky.
This is a photograph of the Orion constellation. If you go outside in the northern hemisphere some winter night and look up at the sky, you will no doubt see this constellation.
