Unlike Jupiter and Saturn, where the atmosphere is made the simple molecules hydrogen and helium, the atmosphere of Uranus is cold enough to
contain more of a complex molecule called methane.
Uranus' atmosphere originally formed from complex molecules and ice, rather than the simple molecules of which Jupiter and Saturn formed.
