Telesto

Telesto was discovered by B. Smith and others of the Voyager team in 1980. Of the 18 moons it is the 9th closest to Saturn, with a standoff distance of 294,660 km. Telesto is one of the smallest moons of all, and is about the size of a small town, at just 24 km (16 miles) wide.

As a small moon, the composition and surface features of Telesto are unknown.
