This image shows the South Pole of Enceladus, a medium-size, icy moon of Saturn. Orange and yellow colors in this image indicate heat as mapped by an infrared imager on the Cassini spacecraft; bright areas are warmest. The "tiger stripe" features near the pole are surprisingly warm; as much as 108° C (194° F) warmer than other places on the moon's surface.
