  • magnetism, space weather, and Sun-Earth connections
  • ultraviolet (UV) "light" - its emission by the Sun, interactions with Earth's atmosphere, and effects on people and Earth's environment
  • radiation - types, sources, units of measurement, effects

The workshop included several hands-on activities.
