Frank Borman

Frank Borman was an American astronaut who born on March 14, 1928 in Indiana. Before he became an astronaut, Borman was an Air Force pilot. He logged over 6000 hours of flight time.

Borman became an astronaut in 1962. He made two space flights and spent over 478 hours in space.

In 1965, Borman commanded Gemini 7. He and Jim Lovell set an endurance record by spending 14 days in space. In 1968, Borman commanded Apollo 8. Apollo 8 was the first manned spacecraft to orbit the Moon.
