Elara

Elara was discovered by C. Perrine in 1905. Of the 16 moons it is the 5th farthest from Jupiter, with a standoff distance of 11,720,000 km. Elara is one of the small moons, and is about the size of a county, about 80 km (50 mi) wide.

As a small moon, the composition and surface features of Elara are unknown.
