Endeavour Mission is Complete
News story originally written on March 01, 2000
The Space Shuttle Endeavour landed last week after 11 days in space. The crew spent the whole time mapping Earth's surface. They mapped almost 80% of the Earth!
There were some troubles during the mission. A bad thruster almost made the crew land early. But NASA found ways to save fuel, so the astronauts finished the mission.
It will take a few years before the data will be made into a map.
