An eagle is an example of a heterotroph. All animals are heterotrophs.

Heterotrophs are the consumers of the food chain. They can't produce their own food using energy from the sun like an
can. So heterotrophs will eat plants or other animals to get energy for life.
All animals and fungi are heterotrophs. A lot of bacteria are too.
