The Sun

Size: The Sun is wider than 100 Earths.

Temperature: 27,000,000°F in the center, 10,000°F at the surface. So that's REALLY hot anywhere on the Sun!

The Sun is made up of gas.

The Sun is a star at the center of our solar system. It gives off light and heat. The Sun is bigger than any of the planets. The Sun looks yellow from Earth. Never look directly at the Sun, because it will hurt your eyes!
